    Olesea Azevedo

    Senior Vice President/Chief Human Resources Officer

    Olesea Azevedo is senior vice president and chief human resources officer for AdventHealth, a faith-based health system focused on whole-person care. Driven by her passion for human wholeness and authentic leadership, she leads the development and execution of system-wide people strategies to deliver business outcomes and care for over 80,000 team members.

    Olesea is known for her leadership in culture transformation and employee experience innovation. Her previous roles include senior HR positions at Florida Blue/Guidewell, Baptist Health South Florida, and Conagra Brands.

    Azevedo earned her M.A. in business administration from Northern Illinois University. She serves on the AdventHealth University board and is an active participant in AdventHealth’s community involvement program, which supports several nonprofits in Central Florida. Her personal volunteer work includes serving various youth organizations, including Girl Scouts of the USA, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and Junior Achievement USA.

    Jay Perez, MDiv, ACPE Certified Educator

    Vice President of Mission and Ministry

    Jay is responsible for the integration of mission across the AdventHealth system, chaplaincy services and mission onboarding for AH employees, the Mission Integration Peer Review process, and the AH Sponsored Chaplain Formation Program. He also serves as Vice President of Mission and Ministry for the Central Florida Division.

    His experience also includes serving as assistant vice president for mission and service excellence at AdventHealth Orlando. An ordained minister, Jay also has experience in both pastoral ministry and clinical ministry at hospitals in Texas and Florida.

    He earned a master’s degree in divinity from Andrews University Theological Seminary, and an undergraduate degree in theology from Southwestern Adventist University. Jay is a Clinical Pastoral Education Certified Educator, and a member of the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education.

    Lisa A. McGlynn

    Partner at Fisher & Phillips LLP

    Lisa McGlynn is an experienced employment attorney in the firm’s Tampa office. She represents a variety of employers, including but not limited to healthcare entities, faith based groups, automobile dealerships, and retail and hospitality establishments, and in all areas of labor and employment law. She defends employers in state and federal court litigation and arbitration on a wide variety of employment-related claims, including claims arising under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), the Florida Civil Rights Act, and the Florida Private Whistleblower Act.

    Lisa is a litigator who has represented employers of all sizes before state and federal courts, in arbitration proceedings, and before administrative agencies such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the Florida Commission on Human Relations (FCHRA), the Florida Division of Administrative Hearings (DOAH), and various local agencies. Lisa has experience with class and collective actions, as well as single plaintiff litigation. Lisa has assisted with cases progressing all the way through to favorable jury verdicts. She also frequently handles dispositive motions, discovery issues, and settlement negotiations and mediations. Lisa understands that her client’s needs and interests dictate the optimum progression for any individual matter. While one business may be interested in an early and confidential resolution to litigation uncertainties, another may be primarily motivated to achieve a statement making victory. Lisa’s experience and candor can help guide matters to conclusion.

    Anna Engelman was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2005 and is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Florida. Ms. Engelman received her B.A., magna cum laude, in International Business from the University of Georgia in 2001 and her J.D. from the Florida State University College of Law in 2005. She is also the co-author of “Arrgh! Hollywood Targets Internet Piracy,” published in 2004 in the University of Richmond School of Law’s Journal of Law & Technology.

    Mike Roper’s civil litigation defense practice involves the representation of private and governmental clients in bodily injury, wrongful death and casualty suits, as well as civil rights, products liability, employment and insurance coverage disputes, in both federal and state courts.     Ashley Frazier serves as claims counsel in the Legal Services Department of Adventist Risk Management. She attended Oakwood University in Huntsville, Alabama where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science. Ashley then went on to Drake Law School and Drake College of Business and Public Administration where she received her Juris Doctorate and Master’s in Public Administration with an emphasis in healthcare compliance. Her experience as an attorney and mediator includes corporate, family and Title IX. Ashley enjoys traveling, writing poetry, and spending time with friends and family.

    Eugenia Han joined Adventist Risk Management as Claims Counsel in 2020. Eugenia holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Juris Doctor degree from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law. She is admitted to practice law in the District of Columbia. Originally from Chicago, IL, she currently resides in Maryland with her husband, Woo Jong, and their son, Theo.

    Stephanie Marchman is a Shareholder in Gray Robinson’s Gainesville and Tampa, Florida offices. Stephanie’s practice focuses on representing public and private sector employers in all aspects of labor and employment law. After earning her undergraduate and law degrees with honors from the University of Florida, Stephanie served as law clerk to the Honorable William Terrell Hodges in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. Following her clerkship, she practiced with the Tampa-based labor and employment firm Thompson, Sizemore, Gonzalez & Hearing and then served as an Assistant City Attorney for the City of Gainesville for over a decade.
